The Party for National Reconciliation is outraged that, on June 5, 2026, the Senate voted 32-41 against the Residential School Denialism Bill introduced by Senator Nancy Karetak-Lindell – a residential school survivor herself – who had proposed the amendment, which had been adopted by the Senate Committee on Human Rights, on June 3, 2026. Grand Council Chief Linda Debassige of the Anishinaabek Nation remarked as follows: “To have the Senate outwardly reject all recommendations, during Indigenous History Month no less, from this committee is not only wrong, but should be a scary revelation for all Canadians. Canada is picking and choosing which human rights they protect, no longer even trusting the very Senate committee established to provide a human rights-specific perspective.” The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) came forward with its “profound disappointment” following the decision, as well. “The Senate’s decision sends a painful message to survivors and their families,” stated Grand Chief Kyra Wilson. “Residential School denialism is not simply misinformation — it is a continuation of the harms inflicted upon our people. When the lived experiences of survivors are questioned, minimized, or denied, the wounds of the past are reopened.” The Party for National Reconciliation has three non-negotiable demands, one of which is “The right to elect members of the Senate.” No democracy should deny its entire populace the right to vote for their upper house (the Senate), let alone its head of state (King Charles III). In other words, this decision was made by a body of unelected appointees. Canada is not and has never been a true democracy, and the Party for National Reconciliation will not cease to pursue its goal of ending colonial British rule and the Crown in Canada in interfering with the democratic rights of voters, as well as the political system, the bureaucratic structure of this country, the Canadian Armed Forces (6.04 – Oath Taken on Enrolment), and the Crown’s influence in the justice system, at every level, in each jurisdiction across the Canadian federation. For the vast majority of federal, territorial, and government positions, the Oath of Allegiance to the Crown is absolutely mandatory. Furthermore, newly elected members of the House of Commons must swear or affirm allegiance to the Crown before taking their seats in the House of Commons. For most positions, the Ontario government allows Indigenous people to exempt themselves from such an oath, but for the Party for National Reconciliation, this simply does not go far enough, as we believe that no person should have to pledge allegiance to an unelected, hereditary (not to mention sectarian) monarch from halfway around the world. There are countless other examples of how the Crown is a lot more than just “a symbolic piece of our ‘heritage’” in the Canadian federation – we will release a complete report on this matter in due time. The British empire has caused more deaths and suffering around the world than any other regime. It is simply sickening that any remnant of such a brutal empire continues to influence any part of these beautiful lands, let alone such a fundamental part of the current system we have found ourselves with no choice but to live under, unless and until we can finally be rid of the foreign interference from the United Kingdom, once and for all.

The Party for National Reconciliation strongly condemns the comments of the federal Prime Minister Mark Carney after being asked by Bloc Québécois MP Christine Normandin about the Clarity Act, with Prime Minister Carney stating that “you must respect democracy, you must respect the laws of Parliament and the decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada […] It is not 50 per cent plus one [vote]”.

We are being told to “respect democracy” while also being told that 50% of the vote + 1 vote is not enough to prove the will of the people. Truly, is there anything that could be so ironic, moronic, and undemocratic. This Prime Minister, much like his predecessor, is a maliciously obtuse despot. This majority federal government was unelected, and with far less than 50% of the vote. These next few years in the Liberal machine will most likely not be easy, to say the least. Prior to 2025, if an election resulted in two candidates with the same number of votes, the returning officer had the right to cast a deciding ballot between the two candidates. Since 2025, such an election would be recalled. It is fundamentally undemocratic to refuse to hold a referendum, similar referendums and plebiscites are commonly held around the world, such as in Switzerland and in many U.S. states. If a majority of a populace vote for or against a proposition, that should be respected as a simple majority, not some kind of outrageous 60% threshold.

The Party for National Reconciliation is pleased that the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal has concluded, correctly, that Canada is continuing its genocide against Indigenous Peoples today.

The Party for National Reconciliation is pleased that the Federal Court of Appeal upheld the decision from the Federal Court to protect the Ottawa river from nuclear waste, siding with the Kebaowek First Nation and local environmental activists regarding this matter.

The Party for National Reconciliation is pleased that Parti Québécois leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon MNA and Pascal Paradis MNA for having met AFNQL Chief Francis Verreault-Paul to discuss topics such as relations between the respective Nations, Reconciliation in the legislative system, and the importance of consulting and involving all First Nations and Inuit in an independence referendum. The Blue Book of the Parti Québécois was also discussed, one of the chapters outlines working with Indigenous peoples to improve Indigenous rights, and showcase the people and resources of Québec at a global scale, finally free to represent ourselves in international community, including being in charge of our own trade deals, immigration policy, seat at the United Nations, and being free from depending on the Indian Act, the British Crown, and the Canadian federal government corruption and anti-democratic behaviour which has kept both Québécois and Indigenous citizens alike subjugated since 1759, which continues until this very day. How many more generations will have to live without a country they can be proud of? Fortunately for us, they didn’t manage to kill, starve, deport, or disappear all of our ancestors. We have the right to self-determination, United Nations human rights bodies recognize that enforced population transfer violates the fundamental rights to self-determination, freedom of movement, and property ownership. Let’s make sure they can’t erase us before it’s too late.

Many blessings to you, my wonderful friends. My associates and I have been in many high-level talks and conferences and are working on refining and improving our Party Platform as well as our links and redirects. We have also secured many domains on behalf of our partner World Enterprise Services and we are in the process of creating email boxes for them as well as improving the bilingualism functionality on this website. We are in the process of finding Indigenous language experts to transliterate/translate/proofread so that we might be able to offer content in Indigenous languages as well as in English and in French. We are currently in the process of modernizing our website, and clarifying and revising our policies, as mentioned above. We anticipate this to be completed by the end of June 2026. As such, our social media goals have been postponed indefinitely until we can deal with these matters. Rest assured we will have a new donation platform as soon as possible, in the meantime Zeffy will continue to accept your generous donations. Thank you for your support, it is incredibly valuable.

TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2026

Greetings my friends, depending on where you live, we have almost made it to the beginning of the spring melt, and the bloom of all the flowers, the budding of the branches on the trees, the sprouting of mushrooms, and of course the end of hibernation for so many of the beautiful creatures across these lands.

I would like to start by saying that our 2026-27 budget has been passed. My predecessor, Keaton Thomas-Sinclair, and his predecessor Nasser Chalifoux, were both focused on bringing our party to run candidates in elections. These were certainly noble goals, however these pursuits nearly bankrupted our party. Under my interim leadership, I have steered our party through litigation and brought us back to a balanced budget at great personal and business expense, reorganizing our party in a way that ensures we will be able to continue to maintain to pay for essentials including contracts, transportation, website and security, requests from party members and other Indigenous leaders, access to information requests, among other essential expenses. Furthermore, we do not have an in-house lawyer or accountant so these fees are quite substantial. Nevertheless, I can assure you that we can continue running the party for this 2026-27 fiscal year. I am not worried about the 2027-28 either. We appreciate every donation, the smallest of donations can make a big difference for a party like ours in these hard times. Our primary issue is that we simply have not been receiving many large donations, which I hope to change very soon with some of our upcoming strategies to find potential donors. We have never accepted any government funds. We will also be updating the donation page shortly to allow for Interac® e-Transfers.

The Libertarian Party of Canada has been deregistered by Elections Canada. If a party this large was deregistered, Elections Canada needs to reduce the requirements to allow smaller parties to contest elections. The registration and auditing requirements are excessively costly and strict, and provides yet another barrier to entry and more importantly long-term stability to emerging parties, and encourages “buyout” coalitions between smaller parties, which are often harmful and predatory. The Party for National Reconciliation has resolved to call on Parliament for a referendum regarding proportional representation. We will provide updates on these matters as they emerge. This is the primary reason why our party will act as a pressure and advisory group and endorse candidates and policies for the most part at this time, as we build the political strength we need to become legitimate long-term contenders in federal elections.

We are also working to improve our social media presence in the coming weeks. Furthermore, we removed our requirement to provide a photograph to become a party member. We wouldn’t want any souls captured now! I am pleased to report 756 total verified members in Canada who registered online, another 1,233 total verified members who registered by paper, and another 51 members outside of Canada. This brings us to 1,989 verified party members within Canada, and 2,040 party members in total… and counting! Thanks to the election of Avi Lewis as leader of the federal NDP, we have been bombarded with requests and hacking attempts. Rest assured we have proprietary, state-of-the-art systems which are constantly monitored, including by myself. We are also working on correcting the discrepancies in our party’s constitutions to create a cohesive one, as well as approve an appropriate privacy policy. We expect this to be done by the end of May 2026.

The Party for National Reconciliation is pleased to note that a federal district judge has granted a preliminary injunction that will allow clergy, religious, and Catholic social justice advocates to enter an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility west of Chicago on Ash Wednesday to provide ashes and Holy Communion. United States District Judge Robert W. Gettleman for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division found that:

The government has substantially burdened the plaintiffs’ exercise of religion.

This is in line with one of the International Relations objectives ratified by the 2025 Congress of the Party for National Reconciliation concerning the excessive use of force and intimidation by United States federal government agencies regarding deportation operations of immigrants, stating in part:

The Catholic community need not live in fear of going to Mass in person because parishioners were being detained and questioned by I.C.E.

The Party for National Reconciliation expresses its disappointment regarding the failure of the Coalition Avenir Québec to formally consult with First Nations leaders regarding Bill 1 on the Constitution of Québec. Furthermore, the Party condemns the decision by Coalition Avenir Québec MNA André Bachand to prohibit Chief Sipi Flamand of Manawan Atikamekw Council to enter the National Assembly of Québec with his ceremonial Eagle Staff while attempting to attend a meeting involving Quebec Justice Minister and Coalition Avenir Québec MNA Simon Jolin-Barrette regarding Bill 1. The Party for National Reconciliation commends Parti Québécois leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon MNA and Pascal Paradis MNA for having met AFNQL Chief Verreault-Paul in Wendake prior to this meeting, pleading for constant and genuine dialogue, nation-to-nation. During the meeting, Chief Verreault-Paul added the following remarks to Jolin-Barrette:

There are 41 First Nations plus one Inuit people in Quebec, and we are allowed 30 minutes today. Is that your definition of full and complete participation by First Nations in the constitutional process, minister?

You talk about a single people, you talk about territorial integrity. This is a continuation of what we saw a few years ago when Quebec, through you, challenged us all the way to the Supreme Court to take care of our children. We are in that same situation today.

As the 30-minute meeting closed, Parti Québécois MNA Pascal Paradis asked Chief Verreault-Paul whether he felt First Nations leaders had been treated on a nation-to-nation basis, and whether the constitution bill was salvageable.

To answer the first question very clearly, from government to government, no, that did not happen. And for the second question, the answer is also no. So, it is not salvageable.

Chief Verreault-Paul added:

We had eight minutes to speak which gives us 15 seconds per First Nation.

The Party for National Reconciliation would also like to recognize Québec Solidaire MNAs Haroun Bouazzi and Sol Zanetti for defending Chief Flamand and his inherent right to carry a sacred staff.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2026

The Party for National Reconciliation is incredibly pleased to see a visit today between AFNQL Chief Francis Verreault-Paul and Parti Québécois leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon MNA, along with Pascal Paradis MNA, to speak before Chief Verreault-Paul appears before the parliamentary committee on Bill 1 on the Constitution of Québec. Plamondon remarked:

We had a very useful and promising discussion about the future, particularly regarding the Bill, and agreed on the importance of maintaining a constant dialogue, nation to nation, with First Nations leaders in Quebec.

The Constitution of Québec must take precedence over any inconsistent rule of law, including federal law. It is a crucial step in securing the fundamental right of self-determination, which our organization supports for all Nations and Peoples. Québec is a bona fide Nation and the Party for National Reconciliation will continue to implore leaders in Québec to continue to create opportunities to create dialogue, explore opportunities for mutual growth and development, increase inclusion of Indigenous leaders and peoples, and strive to see a Québec we can truly say the most Indigenous-friendly Nation in the Americas.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2026

The Party for National Reconciliation wholeheartedly welcomes the decision from the Government of Québec to remove the British crown from the official coat of arms. Organizations with names such as the Crown Society of Canada complain loudly, but the reality is Orangism and Loyalism make for very poor political posturing in present-day discourse, their main benefits are becoming increasingly hidden vassals of the Executive on Parliament Hill (and in the armed forces to some extent). The removal of the British crown is one more positive step towards a post-colonial Québec. How much longer until we may be liberated at last from these centuries of both direct and indirect British domination at the expense of our freedom, our languages and our cultures?

MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026

The Party for National Reconciliation is very pleased with the announcement from RCMP National Headquarters regarding the launch of the National High Risk Child Sex Offender Database. We hope this step toward greater transparency in policing will help improve the RCMP’s public credibility, and hopefully make communities safer by mitigating and identifying some of the most serious threats to community safety – repeat offenders of brutal crimes that pose a high risk of harm.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026

Happy New Year! I won’t be able to excuse the holiday party any longer. Now, it’s back to business. We have been undergoing proceedings for quite some time now as a result of errors made by the last leadership, but rest assured we will prevail with our righteous mission. There are many plans in the works to continue to help influence positive change and dialogue, even if it is only to tip the scales just enough for the common good. I am continuing to work tirelessly with my partners in political parties and movements across the country to ensure the timely implementation of our goals. Failing that, they understand well the implications of ignoring our growing existence as a political movement. Any politician unwilling to make concessions ought not to be one.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2025

As some of you are doubtless aware, this organization has had the incredible good fortune to have been involved in a multitude of positive developments towards peace, justice, and reconciliation over the last few weeks, and I hope that our consultations will continue to prove productive towards our common goals. I am finally at the liberty to issue this statement, please appreciate that these can be incredibly sensitive situations as developments unfold. We shattered our 250 member requirement! Here’s just one indicator of how much of a hit we’ve been lately – after over 30,000 new requests to reclaim a traditional Indigenous name (causing a 24 week delay!) the government of Ontario has reversed its decision on charging fees at the end of the year and it will now be free of charge indefinitely! Thanks to our special partnership with Premier Ford, you can now both reclaim your name and get your Membership Card at no cost to you! Remember, we have never accepted any government money, so please feel free to Donate if you are able. This only the beginning of something great!

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2025

The parties are ramping up and we have to hit our required 250 party members should parliament be dissolved. (Have you noticed all those text surveys lately, asking your postal code and who you would vote for in the upcoming federal elections?) The major parties are seriously worried! Our party has overcome 40 years of history in various iterations. We have never accepted any government money, so therefore our operations can only continue to run solely on the generosity of fellow supporters of our principles. There are many big things coming!
